2025 Scholarship Guidelines

The Delta Omega Omega Chapter Scholarship will pay $1,000 or the budgeted amount for the current year to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

​Applications will only be available digitally.

Application Period: March 1, 2025, through April 15, 2025
Eligibility Requirements (Review Before Applying):
  • The student must be a female graduating high school senior.
  • Must be a Jefferson County resident and must attend Pine Bluff High School, White Hall High School, or Watson Chapel High School.
  • The student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5.
  • The student must attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
  • Scholarships must be used within the first year following high school graduation.
  • The scholarship is applicable starting with the first summer session.
  • Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the university following verification of the recipient’s GPA and enrollment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

  • Books
  • Room and board
  • School Fees
  • School Meal Plans  

Application Packet must include:
1. Complete the 2025 Scholarship Online Application Form.

2. Two (2) Letters of RecommendationAttach two (2) letters of recommendation to your online application.
  • The letters of recommendation should be from your high school faculty or staff, counselor, pastor, supervisor, community leader, or another community member.
Note: Recommendations cannot come from relatives in any of these capacities.
3. Short Essay
  • Submit a short essay as part of the online application.
4. Transcript
  • Submit an official or unofficial transcript. (Unofficial transcripts will be tentatively accepted to meet the application deadline).
 If awarded the scholarship, your official transcript must verify the GPA submitted on your application to receive the award.

Awardee Verification Methods:
(For Applicants without an Official Transcript)
If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, you must provide an official transcript for verification. Please follow these steps:
  • Request your counselor or school official to email a copy of your current official transcript to [email protected] with your full name in the subject line.
  • It is recommended that they CC you on the email for your records and confirmation.

This ensures proper verification and timely processing of your scholarship award only if you did not submit an official transcript initially.

Important Application Deadline and Selection Dates
  • The deadline for completing the online scholarship application and submitting all supporting documents to the Delta Omega Omega Scholarship Committee is Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
  • Award recipients will receive a congratulatory call and an official award letter via email. All award notifications and communication will be sent from [email protected]. Please check your email regularly for any documentation requests or award information.
  • Incomplete application packets will not be reviewed or considered.
